Shipping Policies

Shipping Policy

Effective: August 7, 2025
Applies to all orders placed through Mad Butcher Meat Company

Shipping Area

Mad Butcher Meat Company currently ships exclusively within the state of California. We do not offer shipping outside California at this time.

Shipping Days

To preserve product integrity and minimize transit delays, we ship orders only on the following days:

  • Monday

  • Tuesday

  • Wednesday

We do not ship on Thursdays, Fridays, weekends, or holidays. Orders placed after 12:00 PM PST on Wednesday will ship the following week.

Carrier & Packaging

All shipments are sent via FedEx and packed with dry ice to ensure product preservation during transit. However, due to the perishable nature of our products and variables outside our control, we make the following strong recommendations:

  • Limit each order to no more than 50 lbs per box to optimize dry ice retention and shipping cost efficiency.

  • Ensure someone is available to receive the delivery upon arrival. Mad Butcher Meat Company is not responsible for delays caused by carrier errors or missed deliveries.

Risk & Responsibility

All orders are shipped at the customer's own risk. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the following conditions:

  • No refunds, returns, or replacements will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to carrier delays, missed deliveries, temperature concerns, or changes in customer availability.

  • No claims will be accepted for damage, spoilage, or delivery disputes once the order leaves our facility.

  • Customers are solely responsible for monitoring tracking information and ensuring timely receipt of perishable products.
